Smartphones And Smarter Surveys: Practical Considerations For Optimizing Mobile Surveys

The PA/NJ chapter of AAPOR is holding a reception followed by a seminar featuring Trent Buskirk of Marketing Systems Group (MSG). In this seminar we will provide an overview of current survey development frameworks that can be used to develop and deploy mobile surveys. We will also discuss 10 practical issues that survey developers and programmers need to be aware of when developing surveys that can be completed on mobile devices including, among others: using native web versus specific survey app for data collection, use of email in the context of mobile survey invitations, scrolling versus pagination, use of images in mobile surveys.

Directions and Parking Information:

Wallace Hall is located off of William Street (between Washington Rd & Charlton Street). If coming by car, all are welcome to park in University Lot 10 or Lot 13 just to the north of Wallace Hall. There is also metered parking on William St, Charlton St and Prospect Ave. To arrive by train, stop at Princeton Junction. From there, you can take the TigerPaWW shuttle to campus or take the “Dinky” train to the first and only stop at the edge of the Princeton campus.
